Delloitte and Touche Day of Caring is scheduled for this coming Friday, June 10, 2011. Proposed projects include work to be done on:
New community coffeeshop
Senior Center
Skate park
McGonagle Field and playground
Schaeffer Intermediate – outdoor garden
Repaint several boarded up buildings
Neighborhood property appraisal
Vacant lots in Esplen
Goodwill Plaza
West End Library distribution center
Sheraden Library

The crew (of approximately 400 volunteers) will be arriving at the project sites at around 9am, and the after party is at the American Legion at 4pm!  All volunteers are welcome!  Come out and lend a hand to these wonderful volunteers.  The project has been coordinated by Renew Pittsburgh (a non-profit organization) with cooperation from Councilwoman Theresa Smith.
