Zoning Hearing Notice

The following is schedule for a zoning hearing to change the use of this property.  Interested parties should plan to attend this hearing.

There is a current daycare operating in the area. There are parking issues as the present group applied for and received a special No Parking sign placed in front of the home to assist with the drop off and pick up of children. In that particular case, residents were angry that their minimal parking was limited and to their knowledge, the current daycare had no children at the time.

LET'S TACKLE RECYCLING LIKE CHAMPIONS!

Here We Go, Steelers - "Let's Tackle Recycling" in Heinz Field parking lots before the Steelers' Jan. 23 AFC Championship Game! The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) and its partners will continue the successful "Let's Tackle Recycling" campaign to collect materials by distributing blue plastic bags to those entering six designated parking lots and collecting the full bags of recyclables from tailgaters for transport to the recycling facility. The campaign gathered nearly two tons of recyclables at the Steelers' Jan. 15 playoff game - and nearly five tons more at three home games in December. "Let's Tackle Recycling" is sponsored by PRC and the Alcoa Foundation in partnership with Alco Parking, City of Pittsburgh Environmental Services, Greenstar, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Sports & Exhibition Authority.

PRC is currently recruiting contractor to work at the event. Compensation is $10 per hour. Contact Kyle Winkler at 412-488-7490 x 243 for more information about the event or to apply for contract work.
